Local Attorney Michael Hook To Address Incoming Freshman Class At Florida State University College Of Law
PENSACOLA, Fla. (August 2012) – For the second year in a row, Michael D. Hook, Partner at the law firm Hook Bolton, P.A., was invited by the Florida State University (FSU) College of Law to speak to the incoming freshman class. Hook, who graduated with honors from FSU’s law school in 1980, will address 200 first-year law students during a two-day orientation program that begins August 22. His session, titled Welcome to the Profession, will kick-off the second day’s activities. He will share highlights from his 30 years as a national trial lawyer, including his 2001 launch of the National Accutane Mass Tort Litigation for which he served as lead trial attorney and was awarded more than $65 million in jury verdicts.
Currently, Hook is focused more locally on Hook Bolton, the Pensacola-based law firm he co-founded with Stephen Bolton. The two partners are board certified civil trial attorneys, each with more than 30 years of courtroom experience in Pensacola and Northwest Florida. Both partners have earned an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell and been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers magazine.
